Bootham School, York Examination results at Bootham School in the last few years have confirmed that the Quaker based day and boarding college is one of the top schools in England. Pickard Communication has worked with Bootham for over 10 years and produces termly newsletters, an annual Old Scholars magazine and various publicity material. We were pleased to assist in the production of a prestigious Appeal Brochure this summer. "I am particularly proud of our association with Bootham," explains joint managing director Chris Pickard. "My family has Quaker roots going back to George Pickard, a grocer in Mansfield in the 19th century, and my great grandfather who was a partner in the Thornton Pickard camera company of Manchester in the early 20th century.
